Sawmill workers

Full time positions available working in local sawmills.

General duties include heavy lifting, stacking timber, general tidy up of the workplace and other work-related duties that may be required.

Work is predominantly Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, but some weekend work maybe required.

Full training is provided.

Cleaners needed

Do you take pride in keeping things clean?

Invercargill based employers are searching for part time cleaners.

Duties will include floors, bathrooms, vacuuming and dusting and other general cleaning duties at locations such as commercial and retail businesses, cafés and schools etc. This could also include evenings or weekend work.

You will work to a task list and day routines, have good communication skills and be contactable by phone and email.

Some moderate lifting may be required, so you must be physically fit and healthy.

Previous experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right person.

A successful applicant will need the following:

Minimum of a Restricted Drivers Licence and preferably own transport.

Construction general labourers wanted

General labourers are required various assignments in and around Invercargill.

Work can vary from casual afternoon shifts in Bluff loading containers for export, to builders’ labourers on construction sites, to factory hands.

Hours of work will vary depending on the specific assignment.

Applicants must have a reasonable level of fitness and must be able to pass drug testing procedures.

A minimum of Restricted Class 1 licence and own transport will also be required for certain roles.

Community health workers needed

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a great team rolling out a national, mobile health initiative to whanau, communities and workplaces.

Multiple fulltime positions available.

Day to day tasks will include administrative support, identity checks, record maintenance, collecting swabs and administering COVID19 vaccinations.

Full PPE, training and certification will be provided.

Some travel may be required. Drivers License preferred but not necessary.

Being vaccinated is a requirement of this role under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.

Production workers needed

Varying work is available in and around Invercargill for processing workers.

Shifts could be rostered and may include Saturdays and/or overtime

Applicants must have a reasonable level of fitness and may be required to pass drug testing procedures.

Some positions may require a completed Health and Safety induction course.

Applicants will require their own transport or a reliable lift to and from the worksite. A forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential.
