INNOV8HQ Mana Rangatahi Programme

Mana Rangatahi is a youth development programme (18-24years) focused on re-establishing life skills and aligning these with life, career ambitions and related skill pathways for youth in Otago.

The foundation of this programme is ‘Ko wai au? Who am I? framework’ which allows you to unlock your cultural identity, ambitions and natural capabilities to identify your pathway forwards:

  • Being your Own Boss - Entrepreneurship-self-employment
  • Being Career ready - employment preparation/ job placement
  • Being curious to learn more, up-skill - explores further education and training.
  • Being a great Youth Leader and Ambassador

INNOV8HQ are based in Dunedin but as the programme is delivered via online and in person sessions this is fantastic opportunity for young people throughout Otago.

Inland Revenue offers free Seminars and webinars to help you set up correctly to meet your tax obligations whether you are new to business, GST or employing staff.

Inland Revenue offers three different practical webinars:

  • Starting a business? Introduction to Business is a two hour sessions. Learn about the different ways to structure your business, expenses you can claim, and how income tax and provisional tax works.
  • Are you registered for GST or thinking of registering for GST? Attend the two hour session on GST. Learn about who needs to register for GST, what GST is charged on, what information must be recorded and how to send this to us, and ceasing your GST registration.
