Westport deep sea fishing

Offers a 10 week programme which supports those who want a career in the NZ Fishing industry.

Learn about what it takes to be a deep sea fisherperson and attend this residential programme which offers a shared room, breakfast and evening meals 7-days a week. You will be expected to muck in and help with cleaning and cooking.

The Westport Deep Sea Fishing School has a range of funding options including fees free.

  • Starting a business? Introduction to Business offers information on the different ways to structure your business, expenses you can claim, and how income tax and provisional tax works.
