Take a business computing course

Are you looking for work but need to upskill?

A fees-free NZQA-accredited Level 2 course could teach you how to use Microsoft Office Suite and a range of computing programmes and digital tools.

You’ll develop your computing skills to be able to work in a modern digital work environment.

The course is for any learners aged over 20 who don’t already hold a qualification at Level 2 or above.

Want to learn Te Reo at your own pace?

This programme has no end date, generally takes 5 weeks, but can be done at the Learners pace.

There are no assessments, it is purely based on increasing your knowledge.

You will gain a basic understanding of te reo Māori. The programme includes a selection of well-known waiata and karakia.

LSV : Limited Service Volunteer Training For Youth

LSV gives you an experience like nothing you've ever done before.

LSV operates in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and is available to those aged 18 to 24.

On an LSV course, you spend 6 weeks:

  • meeting and working with new people from around New Zealand
  • gaining life skills, like how to manage your time and money
  • getting fit and staying healthy
  • overcoming new challenges with our practical and personal support

Requirements:

  • Be in good health and able to take part in a range of outdoor activities and
  • Be able to meet the minimum New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) security requirements

You can apply for an LSV course if you're between 18 and 24 years of age and not in employment, education or training.
Once you've been accepted to an LSV course, get ready so you can make the most of your time as an LSV trainee.

Certificate in Small Business and Project Management

Are you running your own business, or do you have a great business idea and don’t know where to start?

Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is offering a Wairarapa based Certificate in Small Business and Project Management (CSBM) course is an incubator which analyses your business or business idea.

Learn up front what so many businesses struggle to pick up along the way including:

  • how to plan strategically,
  • best ways to market in a social media environment, and
  • how to use financials to motivate and grow.
