Employment placement for young people

Future Leaders’ Youth FOCUS Programme is an employment placement service for young people aged 18-24.

The work preparation and mentoring programme develops self-leadership, empowering rangatahi to increase their confidence, team-building and work readiness skills.

The personal development and work preparation areas it covers include goal setting, CVs, exploring work and study options, personal presentation, confidence and communication, teamwork, motivation and interviewing for the workforce.

There's no need to book - just drop in.

Road Maintanence and Traffic Controllers

Full-time roles are available in a timber processing/manufacturing plant.

The jobs involve working a 5-day rotational shift (6am-2.30pm, 2pm-10.30pm, 10pm - 6.30am) or a 4-day shift (5am-3.30pm).
