Seeka NZ Fruits is hiring fixed-term Packhouse Workers for various roles:

  • packers, stackers,
  • tray preparation staff,
  • monitors,

No previous experience required.

Hourly rate starting at 22.75 NZD/hr. There are 2 shifts available: Morning (6am - 5pm), Afternoon (6pm - 5am) - both shifts run from Monday to Saturday.

You must be able to pass a pre-employment tests, and have reliable transport to and from work.

Rest Home caregivers

Do you have a caring approach and empathy towards elderly people?

In a rest home setting, you will be responsible for helping to enusre the residents are comfortable and cared for. You will need to be physically fit and prepared to do all caring duties.

Previous caregiving experience and level 3 qualification are preferred, but not essential as training will be provided to the right person.

You must be available to work shifts across 7 days and weekends, school holidays, long weekends, Christmas and New year.

Pay starts at $22 per hour.

Inland Revenue offers free Seminars and webinars to help you set up correctly to meet your tax obligations whether you are new to business, GST or employing staff.

Inland Revenue offers three different practical webinars:

  • Starting a business? Introduction to Business is a two hour sessions. Learn about the different ways to structure your business, expenses you can claim, and how income tax and provisional tax works.

Poutama Tangata - free coaching sessions

These sessions are available to Māori SMEs seeking guidance with their ‘people’ needs and requirements.

The Employers and Manufacturers Association and Poutama deliver the 'Poutama Tangata’ group coaching programme to small and medium sized Māori businesses across Aotearoa.

The sessions focus on:

  • tools and techniques to help lead your people,
  • creating the right culture to attract and retain your people.

The free online group coaching sessions with EMA’s HR Specialist Nikki Iuli are held the third Wednesday of each month. Beyond these sessions, 1 on 1 support is also available at a special rate.
