Two opportunities are available to work with the NZ Landcare Trust on a project called the Maungatautari to Pirongia ecological corridor.
The first role is Mātauranga Māori Facilitator. This role will oversee the freshwater improvement making sure work is completed within Māori protocol.
This is a high level role and as such you'll need to be highly motivated, community minded and have excellent networking and planning skills. The second role is as a Project Coordinator. In this role you'll need facilitation, networking and communication skills. You'll be working alongside the Mātauranga Māori Facilitator to oversee the planting, fencing and erosion along the streams.

There are multiple roles available in Hamilton and the surrounding areas. A science qualification or lab experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided. A restricted licence and reliable transport will be needed as work is rostered from Monday to Sunday.

An employer in Hamilton is looking for multiple Heavy Machine Operators to join the team.
You'll be operating various plant and ancillary equipment such as excavators, loaders and dump trucks. You'll need to have a minimum of 3 years experience and a full licence (Class 2 preferred). Reliable transport will be needed as work is from Monday to Saturday, 40-60 hours per week.
