Meat processors needed

A Horotiu-based employer is seeking meat processors.

The job would involve working 4-10 hour days, Monday to Saturday.

Applicants need to pass a drug test and have reliable transport.

Security roles available

There are fulltime vacancies for security guards across the Waikato area.

All applicants must be 18+ years old and pass a Ministry of Justice check.

Applicants with their restricted driver licence are preferred, but applicants may be considered if they have their learner licence, have reliable transport (not public transport) and are in the process of gaining a restricted driver licence.

Applicants must be physically fit and willing to work rostered shifts, as hours of work are 24/7.

Learn about engineering

Second school students are invited to visit the University of Waikato’s School of Engineering for a busy day of engineering challenges.

In this free on-campus event, you will learn about the range of engineering areas available and will be able to chat to undergraduates about their experiences at Waikato.

The Experience Engineering event should give you a good idea of what to expect if you choose to study engineering at the University of Waikato.
